Recommended Dosage
Fuel isn't only for race day. For optimal results, consume Stamox beetroot juice about 60 to 90 minutes before a workout because its effect peak within 2 to 3 hours after consumption.
Mix 1-2 tablespoons of Stamox in a glass of water. You can also mix in a smoothie, electrolytes, carb drink, yoghurt, baking and more.
For longer sessions (more than 1 hour), you can take an additional 1 tablespoon of Stamox closer to the start of the training session.
Game day. Timing is everything for peak performance.
Consume Stamox about 60 to 90 minutes before the event or a workout because its effect peak within 2 to 3 hours after consumption.
Mix 2-3 tablespoons with water. You can also mix in a smoothie, electrolytes, carb drink, yoghurt, baking and more.
For endurance races (more than 1 hour), you can take an additional 2-3 tablespoons of Stamox closer to the start of the race.
Loading Protocol: To maximise the benefits before a race or significant training block, some research suggests a loading phase by taking a competition dose of Stamox daily for 3-7 days leading up to the event.
Dosage: Mix 1 teaspoon up-to 1 tablespoon of Stamox in water, juice, with citrus (will hide the beetroot flavour) or smoothies.
Timing: Once daily, often best in the morning.
Effect Size (Best-Case Scenarios)
Acute (within hours):
A single dose of 1-2 tablespoons Stamox can reduce systolic blood pressure by 4–10 mmHg and diastolic by 2–5 mmHg within 2–6 hours of drinking it.
Peak effects are often seen around 3 hours post-ingestion.
Chronic (daily use):
When consumed daily for 2–6 weeks, reductions are typically:
Systolic: ↓ up to 8–10 mmHg
Diastolic: ↓ up to 4–6 mmHg
Recommended to measure your needs:
- It is recommended to try with about 1 tablespoon Stamox every day for 2 weeks, and measure your blood pressure.
- Then 1 tablespoon Stamox 2 times daily, and measure again.
- Then 2 tablespoons Stamox in the morning, and 1 in the evening - and measure again.
This can be a good initial test to measure.

To maximise the benefits before a race or significant training block, research suggests a loading phase by taking a competition dose of Stamox daily for 3-7 days leading up to the event.
Why it's important: For long races or trainings where you want to maintain the 'peak' during the ride and need to maintain a certain pace. Research suggests that plasma nitrite levels can decline during prolonged exercise. A mid-exercise top-up can help sustain these benefits.
Strategy: Consider topping up your nitrate levels every 2-3 hours during your race.
Dosage: A smaller dose of Stamox around 1 tablespoon (10 grams)
Practicality: For such long races, portability and ease of consumption is key, so we recommend having Stamox mixed into a drink.
A great way to dial in your Stamox dosage is to measure your extra Watt output under different dosages. Here's a practical test you can try.

FAQ
Stamox is a science-backed superfood powder that maximizes the proven benefits of beetroot through a superior process:
- 100% Premium Beetroot: Sourced from the highest quality red beetroot.
- Patented & Potent: A unique extraction ensures a stable, reliable strength in every batch.
- Nutrient-Preserving: Processed to lock in essential micronutrients.
- Pleasant & Versatile: A fine powder with a fresh taste for easy dosing.
Stamox helps your body make the most of the oxygen you breathe. Rich in dietary nitrates, Stamox enhances the body's nitric oxide (NO) production; leading to improved blood flow, oxygen efficiency, and reduced fatigue.
Stamox has a slightly sweet and earthy flavour. You can easily mix Stamox with water, in juice, with citrus (will hide the beetroot taste), in a smoothie or in youghurt.
"I've used beetroot powder from another supplement company before but Stamox is significantly better as it is has better solubility, Lighter taste and consistency. The other company's product is heavier in texture and taste and also harder to digest. In fact, they contain a higher fiber content (which is harmful pre-workout)." Says Italian cyclist MarcoValerio Ciminelli
Taste Tip: If you find the earthy taste strong, mix Stamox with citrus juice. Lemon or orange juice works well.
You would have to drink a lot of "regular" beetroot juice to achieve a good effect, and the amount you need to drink will vary enormously.
There are many types of beetroot juice available for purchase. But the "strength" of these is not further described, defined and tested. You can use beetroot or beetroot juice, but the effect will be unpredictable and usually less effective, or have zero effect. It is simply not possible to create a predictable training program with regular beetroot juice.
Daily use is both safe and recommended if well-tolerated. There are some studies however that suggest that occasional breaks (e.g., 1–2 weeks per month /every other) may help assess tolerance and prevent over-reliance.
For example in a lower-volume training block you can go off the product, or use a lower dose for daily health benefits.
Then during a higher training block you can use Stamox daily again.
