Threshold,VO2 & Long-Run Protocol

Holding 3:07/km over 42.195 km demands an exceptional combination of physiological efficiency: a high aerobic engine, a robust lactate threshold, and the ability to minimise the oxygen cost of every stride. Belgian Marathon Champion Yohan Zaradzki (2:12 Marathon / 62:31 Half) is dialling in his Berlin Marathon preparation with this Stamox protocol.

Dosage: 1 tbsp at breakfast to sustain chronic baseline saturation.

Dosage: 2 tbsp taken exactly 2–3 hours pre-workout.

Dosage: The 2 + 1 Formula — 3 tbsp total.

2.5 Hours Before: 2 tbsp to build peak blood saturation.

At the Start: 1 tbsp right before heading out to extend the performance window.

Mix with 500ml of water and a squeeze of fresh lemon or lime; citric acid optimizes cellular uptake.

Avoid antibacterial mouthwash, as it destroys the oral bacteria needed to activate dietary nitrates.
