Jack Billyard has moved back into racing after 7 years away from cycling and will be stepping up to a mixed terrain calendar of gravel and criterium races in the UK and abroad.
Jack’s previous years racing in Italy, France, Spain, Portugal and Belgium as an under 23 will prove valuable experience tackling marquee events like the Traka.
Based in North London, he’s no stranger to gravel epics, setting the fastest known time on the 351km King Alfred’s Way last year.

Method
“On the max power tests - they were sort of a critical power test where you test 3 minute max and 12 minute max to establish your power curve.
The most recent ride I did was a 3 and 12 max, I then did 3x30min fat max to burn ~3000kj, then did another 3 and 12 max to test durability and how much you decline with fatigue.”

“We know that one of the biggest bottlenecks to creating energy in our cells is the body’s ability to supply and extract oxygen.
I use Stamox every day for these reasons & have seen a massive jump in performance.
My coach and I want to do more experimentation with dosage (for example, using in bottles mid race), further power output tests, lactate testing, VO2 max, as well as using it for recovery.
I’m a part time athlete so optimising recovery is almost more important that as a full time athlete, because life commitments are more challenging for time crunched athletes like myself.
Improving EPOC with nitrate supplementation like Stamox is a key part of this and is something I will continue with.”
